So heres my problem, Ive been playing medieval 2 for quite some time now and when i installed the latest patch, it gave me this error when trying to start the game.

Error: Access is Denied


Now i do have administrative rights, so it cant be that, I've tried a lot of different solutions that did not work from searching around, so i thought it was time to post myself. Please help i don't want this game to be a waste of money.
