Icon4 Who made the most historically accurate map so far?

Ladies and Gentelmen. I wonder who made the most historically accurate map so far?

Actually I'm just working on provinces to the vanilla and I'm not interested in anything else than playing a good game in a good enviroment (huh? sounds like working conditions)... I mean I don't want to see anymore amber in Italy or wherever else than Baltic coast, no more than three or four cities at the start (Baghdad, Cordoba, Rome and Constantinople), just mottes, baileys and some castles.

And of course proper provinces... I'll try to make them as much as possible and also to balance the game. I did a huge research on it and it's giving me more and more pleasure.

    Almost that much as MTW1.

Did anyone of you did something like this? Or is ther any mod balancing the things between the West and the East, where's no more "constant siege workshop" in the West and "endless plains" in the East.

    Comments, feedback welcomed.

    Thank you. Errabundi.
So finally I bought Total War: Rome 2. Regarding I payed 7.5$ for it, it's not a bad game at all!

I'm pretty pleased with the provinces I added to the map for my mod - PRO DEO ET REGE.

I tried for a balance of historical accuracy and balance. Retains the vanilla size for now. May be increasing the size in the future.

    Socal_infidel,

But the problem with all released maps is they miss the East... You can't have Moscow or Warsaw in middleages. That's the point.

The other are the cities. There were only a few of them in the early era... So...

Check the date mack, its the year 1000 and these are towns with populations of 800-2000.

    No complaints here.

Tonight I will post some pictures of my As Much As Possible Historically Accurate Map Project (AMAP-HAMP).

For now, let it be announced.

So without further ado... I present my map.

    First Poland:

    And Hungary:

Actually I'm also done with Iberian Peninsula, France, HRE, Rus', Scandinavia, Italy and Greece. The next part of my work involves Anatolia (both Byzantium and Turks). I'll keep you informed on my progress.

Everything is based on huge historical research in many, many languages.

When I'm done, it will be ready to download. Watch out! There wont be easy-kicking rebels. On this map they are the ones who kick butts
