    Default Savegame-map in M2TW

I don't know if this has been asked before but I couldn't find anything so I'll ask.
Where is the standard place for the savegames? I wanted to try the challenge file from the Ghazette but I couldnt find my savegames, so does anyone know where they are?
If nessecary I can post screenshots of the files from my copy of M2TW.

Go to your MII installation folder then > Saves folder.

I would if I had one, but I don't. I will try to post a screenshot as soon as I can. Mind though, I do have savegames.

Are you using any mod? If so the savegame folder should be inside the mod's folder.

The Challenge runs on vanillia (unmodded) M2TW; you need to place the save in the 'saves' folder within your root M2TW directory (ie C:\Program Files\SEGA\Medieval II Total War\saves\, for example)

You can create the folder if it does not exist; the save game is loaded from the main menu (load > load campaign game).

By the way, feel free to PM me any suggestions you have after playing; we're always looking to improve

I'll try that. But then I'll still don't know where my saves are...
And I have the files for the Litemod installed. But my savegames aren't in the savefolder of the mod.

If you're using vista, it might be worth your while to run a search on your root user folder (ie the one that's by default in the start menu under your name, and that contains 'documents' etc) using a known save name as the search string; UAC will sometimes mandate save files being stored in appdata or virtualstore.

You could also try this thread (the sticky at the top of these forums) and see if post number 6 (http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showp...74&postcount=6) does anything to help you out if this is a Vista issue, which it sounds like.
