Amy Winehouse: The New Sinatra?

I don't know if it's just me, but i'm feeling like Amy Winehouse could be the new Sinatra. She has an old style kinda feel, and Sinatra sound and lyrics. Especially in "You Know I'm No Good." What do u guys think?

I like her music a lot, but I've never associated her with Sinatra - guess I'll have to listen to it with that in mind...

yeah, i'm not saying there's a serious association to Sinatra. but i kinda get that feelign when i listen to the songs. but i could just be mistaking the sounds in Sinatra's era with actual Sinatra. But specifically, "You Know I'm No Good" that's when i can really hear a similarity.

Hmmm. If she keeps up her lifestyle she'll be the new Janice Joplin.

She reminds me more of a soul singer like Dianna Ross or Gladys Knight.

I consider the clip funny (although I probably shouldn't, as she obviously is a person with some serious issues, unless this is all some marketing strategy).

Nonetheless I like the controversy in her being acting like a total prole and her music.

Lily Allen has a nice voice, but terrible songs. Amy Winehouse just has terrible songs. I'll bet any of you she'll of been forgotten in a year if she doesn't go the route of Pete Duuuherty and keep appearing in the papers for being a smack-head.
