Listen to all of this, it's amazing..

Everytime I listen to this it reminds me of ancient battles in Scotland and Ireland.. it's so warlike and fierce, for some reason this song.

Very nice! I bet it would be really kickass for me if I could see it live.

I don't know why but it somehow made me think of 'Biko', which gave me the goosebumps then and does so now...

Awesome stuff man, good find. I could listen to that stuff all day.

"And I have felt the sudden blow of a nameless wind's cold breath,
And watched the grisly pilgrims go that walk the roads of Death,
And I have seen black valleys gape, abysses in the gloom,
And I have fought the deathless Ape that guards the Doors of Doom."

Looks like he touched wet paint and wiped his eye! I know a lad who plays the pipes at home, the sound off it is deafening but it would fire you up alright, its weird.

The Scots and Irish used to use large pipes that were outlawed by the English because they used them in battles to motivate fighters; some lad said about them "It (pipe) is much used by the Irish; to its sound this unconquered, fierce and warlike people march against their enemies, and encourage each other to deeds of valour. With it also they accompany their dead to the grave, making mournful sounds as to invite, nay, almost force, the bystanders to weep".

Not sure about the drums though, and no highlander or Irishman ever wore anything that looks like the kilts them boys have. Still though, I'd follow them into battle, one of them looks like he'd be a safe bet to stand behind under a hail of arrows.

Heres a different take on using the old pipes, good at the start but woeful at the end:

This song always struck me as very warlike:

You have to love the old pipes though, wonder is it hard to pick up how to play it?

I liked the first video, but bagpipes have to be one of the most irritating instruments on the planet.
