Orange Livebox/I need a wireless adapter for PC
I just got an Orange Livebox through the post. My PC is at the other end of the house from the phone connection and Livebox so I want to set it up as a wireless connection.
To do this I need a wireless adaptor to plug into my PC.
My question is: what wireless adaptor should I get? There a loads of them and I have absolutely no clue!

I've found belkin to be pretty sound in the past. This is the one I used to use. But you may need a more powerful one depending on distance if it's a house width apart.

Do I need a card or will a USB version do the same job?

A USB one would be perfectly fine as long as it's powerful enough. The Belkin site (there are other manufacturers but I'm most familiar with Belkin) shows that to get a powerful one though you'd need to have a mini antenna sitting on your desk. You can also get small usb stick like devices if you think they'll be powerful enough.
I used the internal card as I didn't want to lose a usb port, have an antenna on my desk and had free PCI slots, so it's merely down to personal preference.
