Download DLV 4.0 Public Edition MTW (09\23\2007)

Hej all,


I just installed Deus Lo Volt and it looks great!

but... i still experience some problems, big problems,
the game crashes when i try to start up a campaign with flanders, the irish and some more factions,
I must add that I only downloaded the main file 4.0.3 guessing the bugfixers 1,2 and 3 are already included in that file or am i wrong?

I hope you guys can help me out cuz i'm really realllly looking forward to play!

im new at these forums
i just downloaded Deus lo Vult 4.0 PE Public Edition yesterday on medieval 2 total war on a vista home premium
i patched it up to 1.2 and installed deus lo vult
howhever, when i try to start it up, the game crashes saying "medieval 2:total war has encountered an unspecified error and will now exit"
can anyone help me plz? anyone know why this is happening?

look into the 1. post in the bug thread for DLV 5.3

i did the fix (added the movies=false line) but my game still crashes on startup
any more help?

Repman, where are the download links for all your bugfixers? I've downloaded DLV 4.0 PE and the damn thing tries to load but immediately crashes stating that there was an unspecified error! Any ideas? I was hoping your bugfixers would solve the problem.

Aww crud...must be something to do with some file or maybe I need to make sure I've patched it...

Ok..I just checked and it said that I have version 1.03, so maybe that's the problem. Should I uninstall and reinstall or am I behind...? Sorry repman but your mod looks so freaking awesome and I want to play it so badly!

Seems like you should be alright with version 1.03 of M2TW. If you have vista have you tried some of the vista "fixes"? If you have the Kingdoms expansion I would greatly recommend playing 5.3. DLV 5.0 and up run off the kingdoms.exe instead of the medieval2.exe and add some things from the Kingdoms expansion into DLV.

I installed DLV 4.0 PE and I found it great!

..... untill in AD 1213 a message told me that a new continent was discovered, and a turn later a huge army of mine spawned in north america.

OMG that ruined my game!

Another thing... I play with England and I had to kill my own King in a naval battle 'cause he was immortal: he reached 90! All sons dead and some nephew too

So you already did this?:

- Vista User: delete a DLV catalog you have on the computer
if you have a catalog at this location, delete it before installing the mod.
C:\Users\[Username]\appdata\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files\SEGA\Medieval II Total War"

And this?:
