    - Install Patch 1.2
    · IMPORTANT: Make sure there is no old DLV_ext folder in your Medieval II Total War folder before attempting to install (Uninstall or Delete them !!!!!)
    · Not save compatible with DLV4.03 or earlier versions
    · Your original M2TW files will not be changed, DLV_4.0 PE creates a seperate installation path which includes nearly all changed files: except a necessary new small folder DLV_ext in the standard data path
    · Execute file Deus_lo_Vult_40_PE_Install.exe and enter the correct path for the installation
    Example: C:\Program Files\SEGA\Medieval II Total War
    (For Germans change it to: C:\Programme\SEGA\Medieval II Total War !!!!)
    · The automatic setup creates a desktop icon, a program icon and an uninstall option
    · To start the game doubleclick
    on the Deus lo Vult 4.0 desktop icon
    or the program icon
    or the Launch_DLV_ext.bat in the path C:\Program Files\SEGA\Medieval II Total War (default path...you may have changed this to your custom path during installation)

    Wow already? you work so fast! and it all sounds so good with new factions and stuff. When you say new faction and new factions do you mean like 3 proper factions or 1 faction and 2 new settlements or something?

    Anyway the new Crusader faction sounds like it will be a lot of fun to play; but for now I wanna play more of my 3.2.3 campaign would be nice to try to finish one lol. Great work!

    Yes i were wondering the same about the battle mecanics. I love pinko's submod, so i hope that is implemented. I know Pinko use some Darth elements aswell so that could be it.

    Anyways fast work repman, nice work.

    Tokus eluded to the fact that pinko was very close to, or had already finished his sub mod for 4.0, so based on that I would say it isn't included, nor is it listed in the changelog.

    Jerusalem is a nice little surprise, very nice.

    Speaking off Sir Pinko, you'll all get PinKO'd with a mailed fist very soon! He's at the ready to release his DLV Realism mod right off the bat of 4.0 ! I too await his next release with anticipation. It makes the battles trickier than every other mod I've played. Dunno if my militia will hold the line. Praying all the while what knights I could afford can cut their way through the enemy's morale! Go Repman! Go Pinkoid! DLV all the waaayyy ARGGHHH! *gurgle*

    I play both SS and DLV as they are both extremely thought through and good mods, they have never had an effect on each other either, is it possible that this mod will be affected/affect the other?

    I have a few questions about the education system in 4.0.

    First off, will newborn family members still have to chose a career as in 3.2 ?

    So if i want a newborn to be a commander i move him outside the first turn, then move him to a castle the next turn to get a military education in a castle ? and are any buildings required ?

    Also, can princesses also gain education or only male family members ?

    3rd if i both get the bonuses of career commander + education i most likely have a 7+ star general that have never seen battle, that might seem a bit high if that is the case.

    Also, how do i remove the 100% chance that AI generals get battlehardened from the start.

    Very nice, there's practically no areas of the map that don't have a few factions in them now, so no one gets a handy campaign anymore. Is there any faction slots left?

    Ok i figured out the education system now finaly. Works fine.

    However as far as i understand from reading the readme they'll only get education until they hit the age of 21 right ?

    I had a member take the military education, he got the 5th education rank and i moved him out to conquer some rebel settlements. He then started getting the skipped school traits. I guess he should be done with his education by then right ?

    I just noticed this very strange student bug yesterday, playing the BETA of the student-addon. StrikeQ has figured out the cause (maybe will elaborate in another topic...Odd!), but couldn't test it yet. I will try to upload a fix as soon as I'm home (3h and counting), downloaded the 4.0-build myself and tried the proposed solution.
    I didn't think the DLV-build would be released so soon, and with the add-on already included...

    Very nice! I've just started playing M2TW again after a while and had recently just started up 3.2. Before I stopped playing M2TW for a bit I had played SS and I've got to say that DLV is a very nice mod indeed. SS was good but I would have to say DLV is king .

    i got it down from megaupload with a speed of 1.28MB per sec, it were 5 hours ago though, there might be more trafic now on their servers.
