    Default Quickie, How to disable UI+Screenshots.

    Quick Qs before the mods can delete this thread or something


    How do you disable the ui in rtw so i can post pics later on potw without the UI in the way?


    and after the screen shots where is it stored, i seem not to be able to find some of my screen shots when i take a pic of it.

    Once you take the screenshot you have to Alt+Tab out of Rome and into Paint and paste it into there. Then save. Alternatively, get a program that reads TGA's.

    Why would we mods delete this thread? Its a vaild question....no rush

    If you are taking this in campaign, then I dont know of any way to disable th UI so its not in the way. However, if you do custom battles, just save the replay and take screens in there, using the movie cam for better shots.

    Always assumed this would be deleted, as it to me seems to be one of the most obvious qs's that everyone seems to know about, im so use to other forums that delete your thread in a momments notice, if there so obvious

    You need to right click your Rome Total War.exe and go to properties. Then, in the target box, type -movie_cam, and then load a replay and whala!


    EDIT: An easier yet more incomplete alternative is going to the preference.txt and Setting MINIMAL_UI:FALSE to TRUE.
