Heya Socal_infidel... sorry I have not been faithfully playing PDER recently (real life...).

SO on to my question du jour: Are you planning on having these compatible changes (Real Combat, LTC balancing) in your next iteration of PDER?-- I realize that these 2 both address differently the same issue of stats balancing, so really this is a question about which way you are going for PDER...

    thanks,
    -ENSAIS

No need to apologize, I know how real-life goes! Besides you're a married man!

Now as to your question, personally I prefer RealCombat. Me? I like the longer battles. As far as future versions of PDER? I'll continue to use Lusted's Battle AI. Unit balancing? Again, I'll probably use Lusted's work.

But I'll continue to release Point Blank's Real Combat as an optional add-on. It's not too much more work, really. Might make the most sense too as Point Blank et al. are constantly refining their work!

    Cheers!

What about Lusteds campaign ai? Simply copy the official zipped files into the mod folder or must I change anything else?

Just place the three files - descr_faction_standing.txt, descr_campaign_ai_db.xml and descr_diplomacy.xml - in the PDER/data folder!

Let me know how it goes! Haven't tried his Campaign AI, but I've heard good things about it!

    Cheers!

Playing as the HRE on VH/VH with Lusteds campaign ai:

    - Nearly every faction wants to ally with me
    - The ai does not capture rebel settelments very well.
    - Factions do not declare war on each other.
    - Money and wealth are exploding, so theres no challenge

    All in all: curious
