Default New TLR 2.0 GFX add-on poll

    Hello people,

I was thinking that while we wait for Torn comming back I will create a GraphiX add on for TLR.

    New faction shields
    New unit cards(Headshots, wonderful contributions!!!!)
interface given a less "pretty" feel.
    plus other bits and pieces...

And then ofcourse some new Splash screens so I thought IŽll open up the question on what style do you all prefer.

blah, blah, blah..... well here are the options:

Option 1. The classic (Dynamic, depth)

    Option 2. Paper Drawings

    Option 3. Painted effect

Option 4. None of the above!!!!! I hated them all along!!!! bring back vanilla!!!

Really? Id go for the second one myself, but define it a bit more. Would look good as a menu background too.

Maybe add some cool borders like the other pics?

like the paper look (2) reminds me of Med 1

Man I like them all. But If I had to chose it would be number two. Feels more realistic if that makes any sense. It also reminds of Med I which is a part of that game that I did like. BTW I bought Med I after I played Rome so I honestly didnt play it that much.

I like option 3, but #2 is really distinctive and unique, so that is what I voted for instead. If 2 was a bit more fleshed out it would really be impressive. On another note, I was just made football coach (American) for my school, and since I am also the head boys basketball coach, I may not be posting in the forum as much as I'd like too. This in no way indicates a reduction in my support of or interest in this mod, but the thing is that I get to play games in my real life that are almost as interesting as total war, and more importantly they pay better... Good work Acegogo, thanks for your dedication and loyalty to our favorite mod!

Hmm... it won't let me vote. Well, in that case, I vote for Oil Paintings. Followed by Drawings.

I think the Oil Painting makes for nice eye candy, which is always good during a loading screen. The drawing is very unique, and that's why I place it second.

I'm not quite sure what's my favorite. I like them all, but if I have to choose i'll go for option 1.
But they are all good in my opinion.

Paper looks is the coolest one. If you are going to "unpretty" things aswell i think the paper look will look better and older.

    Nice work!

I concur with those who have picked the paper variant here. The style of it sort of fits the historical theme of the game.

IŽll leave the voting open another few days,

I expect to deliver the add-on in about two weeks.

There will be around 20-30 loading screens. So if anyone has cool screen captures of close up battles I would apreciate they post them here. (minimum width 1024px.)

ALSO IŽLL LIKE TO SEND A BIG DOSE OF ENCOURAGEMENT FOR HEADSHOTS and the fantastic work he is doing with unit cards.

While I do like the new loading and transition screens, I miss the vanilla menu screen (with the shadowed men marching).

Any chance of that making a comeback?

the painted one looks great...and also the drawing one...can you upload both packages (when you are ready) so we could install them both (when we get bored with the old ones)? or it's too much work...
