This is a rather long list on Heavy Metal music for as many eras of war as I could scrounge up. Each song title has a meaning, a reference, or are full blown dedicated to the category I have them under. Most are self explaining. I usually have the songs running while I play wargames depending on the era to add that extra immersion value to the game you know?

I have songs that are not as well known as, say, War Pigs by Black Sabbath which everyone knows. Please add to this list as I am interested in other Heavy Metal songs that cater to different aspects of warfare.
