I am planning for 3600+ vs 4000+
3600+ should be enough (for playing in huge units) or get 4000+ ? (with overclock)
what's cheapest mainboard for overclock , I look into AROCK ALIVENF6G-VSTA but it has only 1 ide slot.
Thankx in advance.

If your changing both your motherboards and CPU don't bother getting an AMD cpu as they really bad for overclocking think about getting a Core 2 duo instead.
BTW if your current computer can handle Medieval 2 I would have thought it would have know trouble with the next expansion as its still using the same engine.
Currently I have 3000+ overclock to 3800+ single core . my fps goes like 8-10 panning in the middle of huge battle. (altough my fps software says around 18-20, I don't believe it; my eyes can tell fps better really)
So my question is - a lot of people who has 3800+ will suffer the same fps like me? If yes I need to get a faster cpu then.
IMO the only way to go today is an Intel Core two duo. At least for what we are speaking about. AMD has some serious work ahead of it at the moment.
I have nothing against the womens movement. Especially when Im walking behind it.
Kingdoms will be able to utilise dual core CPU's, so if you are planning on upgrading then perhaps you should go dual core. In fact, there is no reason not to go dual core now.

Oh, I didn't know there would be multi-core support! Is there any proof of this??Kingdoms will be able to utilise dual core CPU's, so if you are planning on upgrading then perhaps you should go dual core. In fact, there is no reason not to go dual core now.
