Save my town! A campaign scenario I need advice on

I am playing hotseat with two people. I am the roman julii, the other two guys are macedon and greece.

Now, we play on the same pc... and as you all know, the ai SUCKS... so we started out with the auto resolve only rule... but now my brother (macedon) has gone back on it and just says he isnt following any rules.

Now he is near my town (one of the main two), in a fort (so I can't attack him and kill his troops cause of the ai sucking).... and he has artillery, so he can attack me on the next turn, due to my sucky walls.

Now, without him knowing it, I have "tested" different scenarios, and played his army against mine... and I can't find a way to actually beat him (well, in this case fix it so macedon loses)

I used his army to attack the city, WITH a full stack inside, and my guys get killed.....

Anyone got any advice? .... I will be uploading some screenshots of our armies on this thread soon...

This is his army... it doesnt look like much, but keep in mind he will be fighting my guys while the AI has control of them.


This is the entire scene... the only good news is that I get Capua!... but anyway, you see his plan...


My army... all the forces I could muster from all of my surrounding cities. Plus two merc infantry behind the city, and the city will have one more princepes when he attacks (cause of the turn)

Anyway, dunno what to tell ya.. my advice would be newer play hotseat with your brother, especially if's he older and stronger then you

Well if he tries to do any sea invasions get your fleets to him before he comes to you.

Get the hell out of capua and seige the fort. Starve him out so he is forced to to attack you, and he will not defend.

Get mercenary hoplites if you can so you can fight fire with fire.

Well, don't play anymore if he doesn't follow the rules It's just fair that he autoresolves too. Especially against a human faction.

Yeah, don't let him do that. Tell him he can't play if he does that. But there may be a way to beat him. Post his general's stats. Both of them.

how do u do hotseat?

It's a mod. There are some problems with it, like how you can't do player vs player battles, but lots of people seem to like it.

did the GCS and macedon players team up? if so, ur screwed.


can i see a minimap pic (that shows whole world and territory ownership?)
