does anyone know if toshiba laptops (Satellite A105S4074 I'm pretty sure) can be modified. I'm looking to replace the video card, but I obviously can't do that if it's part of the motherboard.
any suggestions (short of buying a new laptop)

It uses the Intel® Graphics Media Accelerator 950 which is integrated.

It's doubtful, as it doesn't seem to configurable (like dell laptops), so I'm afraid the answer is almost certainly no.

Dell Inspiron 1520 is what I'm looking at right now. Put the 8600gt in it and it'll be half decent at gaming.
