I am attempting to reinstal MIITW which I have done many times before, but now it keeps giving me a strange error that says "cyclic redundancy error". It is not a registry problem, I took care of that. Any ideas?

That usually indicates a transfer error from the DVD.
Is your disc scratched at all?

Yeah, it could be the dvd itself or the dvd-rom. I had a faulty dvd-rom once that gave that error. Can you try it at a friends, or a different computer?
