1.2 Patch problem (I checked other threads before making this!!!)
I recently downloaded the 1.2 patch, unzipped onto a clean M2:TW, deleted geography files. When I try to start a new game as any faction the game crashes to single player menu, after that the game won't let me click on the new campaign. I have tryed uninstalling and reinstalling, but the same problem occurs. I've had a look for other people with a similar problem, but couldn't find any! PLEASE HELP!!!

I didn't use the 1.1 patch either!

To clarify, did you unzip the patch or actually run the patching process by starting the exe?

Can you also post your system.log.txt file? Could be a clue in there as to why.
