RTR Crashes

I loaded the platinum RTR after I happened across it last weekend. I love what has been done. The game load and I started playing and was hooked. The only problem is I get into a campaign and at random points the game just quits and throws me out. If i reload the save it still throws me out. It has done it to me every time I have played after an hour or two. Any Ideas, by the way I am a net novice.

What version of RTW are you using?

To find out, start the game, click on options, in the upper right is the VER #.

Platinium, so gotta be v1.9
Anyway, try in RTR subforum, cheers

RTR plat v 1.9 is for RTW ver 1.5 ( or BI 1.6, and I assume Eras 1.9)
RTR Gold v 6.x is for RTW ver 1.2.

mixing these up could cause problems, thus the question, What ver of Rome Total War is involved. 1.2, 1.3 or 1.5.
