    Default shield bug

    i read the shield bug is solved in 1.2. I still play 1.1 cause my mod is not compatible and so, i have this shield bug. I wonder if it is possible to use the fix bug from 1.2 to 1.1 anyhow ? Is it a simple change in edu or more complicated?

    If i'm not wrong it is a change to the last pak file which couldn't be unpacked.

    is there a combinasion of stats that make the bug almost gone ?

    What mod are you playing?!?!

    Anyways, I think, if I recall correctly, the workaround was to set shield value to Zero and allot half of what it was to Armor, the other half to Defense Skill.

    that is a good idea.

    i play mymod, i simply reduced by few points all shields

    its from 2 to 4 mostly

    it doesnt look that buggy. perhaps what you propose me is the best way, how is it workin ?

    It worked all right, from what I remember. But my own mod is for 1.2, so don't use that workaround anymore.

    Why don't you update your mod to 1.2?

    mymod works not with 1.2
    i dont want to spend days to make it compatible, i dont think it is worth it except the tree bug fix
    it is a shame for the bug that has trees desapearing, fighting in great forests like in amercia is impossible coz of that, so no fighting vs aztecks in the new world.

    Yes it does, all mods use the mymod/mod switch function.

    mod switch function ?! when i installed 1.2 i lost all mymod changes and couldnt manage to use again. what should i do
    i really want some fixes from 1.2 particually the tree bug (when fighting in america it is so necessary)

    The way to set up the mod switch(also known as mymod) in 1.2 is the same as 1.1. Check out this thread for a tutorial:
