    Default Editing some traits.

Hi, I have a dum question to ask, but I appear to be missing something.
The txt file regarding character traits is export_descr_character_traits, right?
I tried to modify my mods traits to my personal taste the mod is great for me, Roma Surrectum, but after I open the file and edit a trait, it's the same thing ingame!
    What am I doing wrong...

I posted a huge response, but for some reason it just didn't work when I tried to post it. >_<

One second, I'll post a shorter version of it.

It only says that its the same. To get the changes to show up in game you have to edit export_VnVs in the text folder for the changes to come up when you hover over them in the game

Edit: Sorry SSJ didn't see your post there.

Find the file "export_VnVs" in data/text. This is the file that the game uses to display to you what the trait does. Find "character_trait_effects_desc" (where character trait is the trait you're moddifying). Under that line it should say something like "+1 Command". Change it to correspond with the changes you made in export_descr_character_traits.

Basically, "export_descr_character_traits" is the file used to tell the game what each trait does, and has the real effect in-game. "export_VnVs" is the file used to display the text that you see in-game (the character trait name and description).

Hopefully that helped, and it should solve the problem. Good luck and have fun modding!

Yeah, thanks guys, I feel embarassed, as I saw that the effects were in fact working. But I still wanted to know which is the file with the descr of the trait. Thank you again!

It's alright, I had the exact same problem when I first started modding.
