Is it possible to have a Barbarian Invasion mod with a Rome Total war mod?
Is it possible to have a Barbarian Invasion mod with a Rome Total war mod?
Basicaly, yes, there are some exceptions. Mods like EB and SPQR are not multimod friendly. Any mod that uses the mod switching, and is for your game version, will most likely work.
I have a seperate RTW installation for EB, one for SPQR, then in another I have RTR plat in the Rome folder and RTR plat NMM mod in the BI folder.
To be safe check the FAQ for each mod.
YES IT IS.. MAKE DOUBLE RTW FOLDER
LEONIDAS
"Hoti to kratisto" - Alexander of Macedon
Copy and paste everything from the Rome - Total War folder into another folder. And then when you install the mod choose the other folder as your root directory. That way you can play both RTW vanilla and the mod, or as many mods as you want.
While possible, I did say check the FAQ.

First thing after the credits is this:I just think it is a good habit to follow the mod developers recommendations, as they generaly have more experience with complications that crop up from time to time. Because EB changes some base/vanilla files, you do not have the option of playing a totally unmodded vanilla RTW.Installation Instructions:
Make sure you have a clean RTW 1.5 install on your computer. Double-click the EB-v08.exe file and follow the instructions given during the installation. EB 0.8 uses a -mod command, but a few files in the base/vanilla RTW build will also be altered. Theoretically it should work with other mods using the -mod command, but we recommend having a separate build for EB.
If HD space is at a premium, by all means, see if it will work using the mod switching.
Cool, Thanks.![]()
Is it possible to run a mod and then download a skin or skins and run it with the mod?
Btw, can I run a mod with a beta with a mod?
Funny- Back When I was an Empire At War Modder we were told NEVER to mix mods. Hmmph.
