    Default The unit pictures/icons

I'm adding stuff to different factions, I'm currently trying to add Chariots to Roman factions, and it works in campaign and custom battles. but I have one problem, the unit pictures are messed up is there any way to change them? And are there any consequences to modding the game files will they screw things up?(besides game balance)

Can you please elaborate on "messed up"?

Did you copy your unit pictures from your UNIT_INFO folder?

Messed up as in: my Roman (Greek) Scyth Chariot's unit card picture and its description picture is of a peasant wearing grey and not of a real chariot. Otherwise it works fine, so hat do I do?

and where is the UNIT_INFO folder?

    ok here goes:

I'm assuming it's a vanilla installation of Rome?

you need to get your unit picture cards from C:\Program Files\Rome - Total War Complete\Data\packs\DATA\UI\UNIT_INFO

Have you have unpacked your pak files in that folder?

    Here's the Pak Unpacker http://www.twcenter.net/forums/downl...?do=file&id=43

the folders in question are \Data\packs\DATA\UI UNIT_INFO & UNITS

I copied "Greek_scythed_chariots" from the selucid folder within the unit_info into the Roman folders, but the unit cards are still messed up. Oh wait, was I suppose to copy from the both main folders?
Thanks, I have another question, I'm also trying to get the elephants for Romans, is there anyway I can make the Rider look like a Roman support soldier (dressed like the siege crews/auxiliaries)

Hold, on for the ownership part, I placed
    ownership seleucid, roman
maybe I should of done ownership selucid, roman_brutii,roman_juli...?
because in the unit_info and unit section the faction are seperate

No, I just can't get the unit card to work, I guess I can adjust to this, but when I add more units to the Romans I'm gonna have a hard time playing the game, what happens when you try to add the chariots?

You need to create those UI and UNIT_INFO folders.

    1. In your data folder make a folder called UI
    2. In that folder make 2 folders and call them UI and UNIT_INFO
    3. in those two folders make 4 folders and call them;ROMANS_JULII, ROMANS_BRUTII, ROMANS_SCIPII, ROMANS_SENATE

    4 copy "GREEK_SCYTHED_CHARIOTS_INFO" from \Data\packs\DATA\UI\UNIT_INFO\SELEUCID

5 and paste 4 times into the corresponding unit_info folder you just created.

    Hope this helps
