Overconfidence?
I just did a quick sweep of this forum and didn't find anything about generals becoming overconfident. I'm starting off on my 2nd campaign with SS and my generals seem to be consistently getting overconfident, which is a huge blow to their command. Why is this?
It's usually my best generals as well. I have one that just took 3 cities in under 10 turns and now he's insanely overconfident(whatever the wording is) and loses 6 command because of it. That completely ruins the general and they never seem to drop it. They were weak cities and he had a huge army, so I just auto-resolved all of the sieges. I also seem to remember generals picking up this trait when I auto-resolved in my first campaign.
I also notice almost every time you auto-resolve a battle, the general gets "critically wounded". I figure that's just a way to encourage you to fight the battles, but 'cmon, I don't want to waste my time on some fights....
Great mod btw, just these couple things and the supply chain thing are really turning me off.

Re: Overconfidence?
It is the Byg reality traits that are responsible.

Re: Overconfidence?
The overconfidence traits are being toned down in the next patch I believe.

Full in depth details about all the Reality Traits are in my signature below.
The critically wounded isn't one of mine, but I like it anyway.
May I ask, have you actually tried fighting with one of your generals afflicted by this trait? I'm no great player and still usually win, but it does mean maximum concentration is required in battles. That was the idea.

Re: Overconfidence?
BYG, maybe you have an idea how to fix severely wounded. It's WAY too common in autoresolve, in fact, it's rare not to be wounded on autoresolve. As an expert on traits, maybe you have some insight into this...
