Thread: I can't remove remove BYG Traits

Default I can't remove remove BYG Traits

I've replaced my export_descr_character_traits.txt with Quark's export_descr_character_traits_minusBYG.txt text file (I removed the minusBYG part). The result is that the supply lines part of the mod has been removed but the "realistic" traits remain. Have I missed something? Is it hard to remove these traits manually?

What do you mean by realistic traits? Byg traits are supply, overconfidence, victories, monuments and dishonorable. The file is missing these, but you will need to start a new campaign. Any others come from vanilla or BBB.

Ok, my bad. I should have read what the BYG traits were. The trait that annoys me the most is "severely wounded" which happens nearly every time I auto resolve a battle but that must be a SS trait, not a part of BYG. Thanks anyway Quark.

Open the traits file in notepad and find

    ; SEVERELY WOUNDED TRIGGERS

but a ; infront of the triggers and hey presto - gone

As it turns out its a BBB thread, but yes we need a single SS Traits thread, since they are all in there.
