    Default I got a question..

I got a question that may seem stupid to some people but whatever,

Why do all my games suck?

I mean I have to run all of them on the lowest possible settings and even then I get major lag.

I was trying Caesar IV the other day, minimum specs were something like:
    1.3Ghz, 512ram, 64MB Graphics card, DX9.0c

    I got a Intel Pentium 4 CPU - 3.00GHz (2 CPUs)
    1024MB Ram
    DX9.0c
128MB Graphics Card- GeForce PCX 5300

My system was a stock Medion computer.

I have a feeling that it's the graphic card but even if it is, 128MB is more than enough when the minimum is 64, even then the game inches forward when someone ran this with barely minimum and could run fine with med-high settings.

I'm just confused and I'm thinking I need a new Graphics Card.

    Thoughts?

I would say your graphics card. I had an FX5200 and got by in RTW and could only get low single digit FPS in MTW2.

I've read that the 5300, specifically, is not compatable with many games and has many problems.

Your graphics card is a POS. The amount of memory a graphics card has isn't a good indicator of performance, especially in older graphics cards, as both ATI and NVIDIA released later versions of older series of cards with just more memory, which does shite all in terms of performance.

Also, the 5xxx series of cards was never that good anyway.

Unfortunately the memory of a graphics card is largely immaterial with regards to its performance; and the geforce 5 series was never much good - even less so in the low end

Got sympathy with you on this one - was running a geforce 5 myself until early last year
