    Default SPQR Cavalry change help

    Hello
I would like to know how to make the cavalry for the SPQR v6.4 mod more like it is in Napoleonic TW. This is regarding how devastating it is, especially when chasing routing enemy units. In NTW routers get frickin slaughtered by cavalry and in SPQR it takes the better part of the length of the map to kill a single unit.I appreciate any help here

    Try lowering all units' defences.

That would make all units die faster from anything....

But if you want cavalry to be more deadly, you have to increase the attack of all cavalry units in export_descr_units.txt

It would be a tedious job, and I don't recommend doing it.

Why do they need to be better anyway? SPQR cavalry are weak to make it more challenging. Rome didn't rely on powerful cavalry charges in real life, and this is reflected in the mod.

really the only thing i wanted was easier cleanup of routing units. the roman cavalry does a pretty good job of routing them in the first place the way i play it, but it takes for ever to finish them off while chasing them. in Napoleonic it takes all of 30 seconds to cleanup the better part of a routing army. i dont really want them to be any more powerful just better at killing fleeing enemies

btw, i am pretty close to the same year as you. 173 BC:

Its not really tedious. I love modding and i have altered all unit stats by a little. I find the battles way too long when fighting high morale units like greeks.
