I have never had a problem running rome before I installed this. I installed it as it says and everything was working fine but occasionally after about half an hourit just freezes not ctd and i can't even press ctrl+alt+del to get out. I have to manually turn it off t the switch. sometime however it goes to desktop and it has been altered as it only shows sort of the right upper quadrant of the screen all blown up to fill the screen and a meesage saying this: The nv4_disp display driver has stopped working normally. Save your work and reboot the system to restore full display functionality. oNce rebooted a dialog will be displayed giving you the chance to upload details of this failure of microsoft. any help? by the way I have an Nvidia MX 440 (No comments because it ran rome ok before except for lag in the activision startup and opening sequence movie(explanation for this if known as well please). I also have 512 ram

mate,i still have mx440 since 2002 and it is a good card,even when i bought 8600 gts i didnt throw it into the trash,i just make it works on another pc case,ur problem may be very simple,i recommend that u install the last driver update for 440 mmx,u can find it on the nividia official site,also as long as u run rome total war normally on ur pc(even it is low performance pc) u will face no problem with chivalry as long as u setup it probably.
by the way u may face some battle crash so u d better set the display card details to very low also playing with normal scale....hope u overcome ur problem soon

I did as you suggested and this may edge into technical help but now everything on the screen seems big and more pixelated and on things like the taskbar and to makeroom for this on a normal page I must now scroll from side to side to see the whole page which I never had to do before. not a major problem but I was just seeing if you had any suggestions as it is obviously somehting to do with the recently installed driver as I rebooted my computer after install and it was like this.

forget all that it was just the screen resolution and I have learned how to fix it
