    Default "Reality" traits are stupid as hell

    Others have already mentioned how retarded the supply line traits are, but im here to point out how stupid the "reputation destroyed" trait is.

    Why is it "proper" for a general to leave his bigass castle to fight an enemy en route in the field, instead of sitting comfortably behind his walls and let the enemy try to break in? If im a commander, i want to fight on the best ground available to me - and that means using the GIGANTIC FRIGGIN CASTLE I JUST SPENT YEARS BUILDING.

    Whats worse is that the only way to get rid of this trait is to use an OUTSIDE army to come and get rid of the beseigers. How stupid is this when youve got an AI who likes to siege castles with 2 units? So my full stack sitting in my castle is forbidden to route the 2 stinking units at my walls? WTF?

    Seriously, this is game ruining addition to the mod.

    if you like it choose it nobody is forcing you to use it btw Modifier liked it and he used it ,why we all loved it and we still loving it
    why you hurting the creative thinking people's mind and
    put you opnions in the proper place this trait mod have a ""thread"" thre place your opinion
    please dont ruin the Stainless steel thread by posting like offending stuffs

    well perhaps TC's tone was a bit abrasive but i definitely understand his frustration...has anyone thought of a way to deal with the "reputation destroyed" issue?

    if you play the game seriously instead going to war constantly or losing constantly this trait will come.
    this trait mainly intend to make you lose .thre you will learn how to avoid that lose
    so check out the byg trait thread thre post all you complaints or suggestion and congrats stuffs please please don't make more threads unless needed so

    FWIW

    I LOVE the idea of the supply line traits. I've always thought that it was silly that a full stack could just sit around for years without any kind of support. My only complaint is that the AI is'nt subject to it. So they can mess up my resupply system, but I can't theirs.

    I HATE the rep destroyed trait. I agree that it's beyond ridiculous that you can't sally, or use the fortifications to your advantage. I think it was an artificial way to get people to fight in the field instead of just a bunch of seiges, but it's unrealistic as hell.

    If anything if I, with my 30 bodyguards, sally out alone against 1500 turks and live to talk about it, I should get the "SUPER STUDLY GOD AMONG MEN WHO BANGS PORN STARS" trait (+4 Morale, -5 Piety... ), not rep destroyed

    As a note, Byg has said that the 'Reputation Destroyed' trait has a small error in its coding. If you find it in the appropriate text file, the Threshold should be 2 not 1. Then when you come under siege, you correctly get the DANGER trait and only progress to Rep Destroyed if you ignore the warning.

    The trait is there so the player doesn't take advantage of the AI's inability to cope with sallying, and encourages field battles where the AI can work to its best ability.

    Hi Monolith,

    This issue was discussed several times before, but in a more constructive manner.
    The rest was said by Chola Kingdom.

    And as I stated somewhere else, in the next patch (today or tomorrow) there won't be no more overconfidence/reputation destroyed and dishonour traits, since I agree that they are too much unrealistic punishment for the player.
    The player should be able to decide if he wants to defend himself in a castle or in the open field.
