    Default weapons vanishing?

    Alright i just went back to playing rome after missing it for like 6 months.
    Then i realise something....troops' weapons disappear after they die. So...is this suppose to be normal? This didn't happen in mtw2 so i am curious as to why this is happening.

    Cole: "You're telling me what not to shoot in here? Look at this ****!"

    Need the unit settings be high to keep the weapons? I'm playing with unit setting on medium. Anyways, dead troops with missing weapons? That seems pretty unrealistic.

    yeah unrealistic... lol but I think it is same as you see dead weapon or not...

    Oh and set unit size to high that mabbe help

    My unit size is already set to huge. But my unit details are medium.

    I just realised the same thing. Looks like only shields are left when unit die. There is an exception however, if unit hold weapon in same hand with shield (javelins for example), it will stay in their hand along with shiled after they die.

    hey, thats better than what i get. offricers, and generals weapons dissapear while theyre still alive, so they use their fists.

    Thats a well known RTW bug im afraid its actually a fairely simple fix if you can model

    Its even worst when phalanxes changes between weapons in the middle of the battle.. i allways wonder where they hide all those long spears:hmmm:

    I dont consider it a bug, but it looks funny when they use spears first, then change on swords, and then get back on spears.. Like those retarded shooter games where your character gets M60 from nothing

    And....its a little wee bit unrealistic with weapons doing the "disappearing act". Did david copperfield teach them that?
