Unspecified Error with Venice

Every time I try and play a custom battle with Venice as one of the factions, I crash with an Unspecified Error.

Not really sure what else to say about it, I'll try and narrow it down to one unit if I can.

Do you have any other mods installed and have you unpacked?

I have it unpacked, and have no other mods installed. However, I have found the source of the problem: Venetian Heavy Infantry.

I had a saved army with Venice that I wanted to play with, but it kept trying. I loaded that army, but took out the VHI, and the game loaded fine.

I then tried a custom battle with just one unit of VHI and it caused a crash. I wonder what it could be, I'll have a look in the files.

Well it shouldn't be my mod as my mod doesn't change them. Make sure you haven't got the left overs of other mods installed, or are using the file first command with 1.1 files as 1.2 changed the location of some models and textures related to VHI and changed the battle_models.modelsdb file as well.

I've just remembered that I have Burrek's texture packs installed. I don't think this changed the VHI though, and I never installed 1.1, I went straight to 1.2 after a fresh install.

Well I just tried loading vanilla, and the VHI load properly with Burrek's new textures. I will try reinstalling.

Remove the battle_models.modelsdb from burreks mod, it will be the cause of the problem.
