gun fire sound sfx when zoomed close

I know this problem has been addressed in an earlier thread, and you said that a patch would fix the gun fire sounds fading when zoomed in close (simultaneously with the british update) I have downloaded the newest version, the peninsular pack, and the problem persists. Is there anything one can do in the sound folder or elsewhere to solve or at least improve the problem?

what exactly is this minor text gap that is missing?
Maybe people can rectify it themselves, instead of waiting for the patch?

(Not that we don't want to wait, we just want to have as much time playing this brilliant mod!!)

Hi there, I acxtually have no clue about editing text myself (I can add names and that's about it ) but I will ask someone who does know for you if you like.

You may not have long to wait for a patch to fix this though.

EDIT- I was told that editing the "mindist value in descr_sounds_units_fire.txt" has solve the issue for the Lordz. Changeing it "from 20 to 5". However, you mod NTW2 at your own risk. I hope this helps.
