M2TW won't install

Hi guys! I recently downloaded the M2TW demo online and liked it so much I decided to get the game. Well, imagine my disappointment when I find out the game does not seem to want to install on my laptop (yes, before you ask, my laptop can handle the game. It handles the demo excellently with most stuff turned up high).

Now, I'm not getting an error during installation. The game will just flat out not even begin installing. When I put the disc into my other computer just to test if the disc works, the install screen comes up automatically just as it should and it looked like the game would have installed perfectly. I can't play the game on that computer though because it cannot handle it.

When I put the first disc into my laptop (the computer I actually want to install the game on) a screen that looks like command prompt flashes on screen for an instant, then nothing happens. I can explore the disc and if I use the "demo32" application, the normal install screen comes up (the one that should come up automatically when you insert the disc). However, if I press the "Install" button, the game won't install. The install screen closes and a small "Designed with Demoshield" icon flashes on the screen for about a half second. Then, nothing. I've tried to figure it out but with no luck.
If anyone could help, that would be amazing. Thanks for listening.

PS: My laptop's running on Vista. I don't know if that's important.

Oh this sound very similar to something my friend had on his Laptop. I suggested to him as to you copy the game to the hard-drive first. I know this is a pain but it should work brother. Just make one directory and copy everything in there when you put in the next DVD and copy and it prompts file already exists just say yes copy it all. Once done run the install from the HD. It will do it off the HD but not the DVD drive that is what is happening is the DVD in the Lap top doesn’t have the required resorses to install it from there. My friends DVD drive in his lap top is cheap as hell not saying yours is but sounds so identical. Thank god you can explore the disk, we had problems even getting his drive to do that. But once everything got copied to the HD the install went flawlessly and it will not promt you for the next disk it will just keep going until it’s done.

Forgot to mention;

Friend just called last night he is experiencing heat up issues now on the laptop sitting it on his lab for more then ten minutes is burning his legs up. Said he melted a plastic coffee table mat last night and now the game is locking up. Just an FYI incase you have heat issues it seems to be common with laptops on these newer games pushing the system harder.
