I installed the patches to the same folder as the mod itself, but in the main menu of the game, it still says that it is version 2.0. Should it say 2.2, or is this fine the way it is?

It's fine the way it is - as they were such quick fixes we didn't include the version number. If you want to check, start as Rohan and make sure all the building images are present.

If I started a campaign before I installed 2.2 patch, will i need to start a new one to get the fixes?

I want to install patch but there is no map.rvm file in bi/ci/data/world/maps/campaign/the_south which I should delete by instructions?
Maybe it's already deleted with CI instalation ?

Are you installing 'Corsair Invasion'? There is no map.rwm file to delete when installing 'The New Shadow'.
