I completely agree with you there. I understand that they want certain things but at least stave from indoctrinating children . I mean they basically turn this 12 year old into a preacher by the end of it. The saddest part is that he's not daft but he's brainwashed to a point that he won't see other views

As strange as it sounds I found it a little funny(except towards the end), of course I understand that the subject of the movie is a serious problem but still the absurd things that they said and did just made me laugh a little.

So, according to Becky Fischer, God doesn't want us to have religious freedom? He encourages us to all be Christians and won't let us be anything else? Sounds like a cruel God, taking away all our spiritual freedom... if you don't side with him, his followers will wage a holy war on you. Aah, great!

I wish I could meet face to face with those people and talk some truth into them (just to embarass the hell out of them, because they would never actually believe what I said, because "I'm an unholy sinner," or whatever) I'll bet you those kids don't understand half of what is being fed to them, but they believe it anyways because it's shoved down their throats.

Let's not forget that the concept of religion is the belief in something considered real.

A god who is the only [G]od is justified in asking to follow him alone - after all, other religions would then be pointless and realistically non-existant.

I hate the fact that they use kids so young as a tool to tell them that anyone who isn't a Christian is pretty much pure evil. It isn't fair to manipulate minds like that, and kids should be left to make their own religious choices later in life.

Also the fits that kids have in that film freak me out.

The use of music and dance is prevalent in this place, the basic premise being to get the children to link what they have 'learned' into a physical and emotional background, something that is far more likely to stick in their mind than simply being 'sermoned' at for a good length of time.

The children are asked to raise their hands on the basis of " anyone who believes that god can do anything" Notice the parents forcing their children's hands up into the air. The major effect of this is peer pressure, you really wouldn't want to be the only kid with his hand down.
That aside, il not the hypocrisy of a giant fat lady, talking about fat lazy christains. She forces the children to reapeat after her

"god, im here to be trained, im here for an education.
im willing god, il do what you want me to do, il say what you want me to say. In Jesus name'. and then of course we arrive to the 'praying in tounges. The children are worked up into a mass of emotion.
and cry, i will compare this to Abuse, no, not compare, this IS ABUSE.
Just as sexual abuse works children into an emotional and physical state they cannot really understand, so does this form of mass indoctrination.
Watch the fat ladys (becky Fisher) mouth. and facial expression, when veiwing the little girl baring her face up to the sky, and crying while in prayer. Notice how she licks her lips in excitement.

Children being usable in a Christianity is a comparison that she's drawing to how Muslims use their children by "giving them guns, giving them hand grenades and teaching them how to tie bomb vests to themselves". In a way, is what she is doing to those Christian kids any better than what she believes Muslims are doing to their children? She also referred to the kids as "an army of God". What are they going to be fighting for in the name of God?

And "being saved" at 5. At the age of five, are you able to fully comprehend the basis of religion? How can you tell what being saved is from, perhaps, a dream you have at night? We don't know if he realised if he was saved. Perhaps he had a bad dream and his mum said "oh no, that was God saving you". I simply do not realise how a 5 year old can comprehend something like that.

And home-schooled children being evangelical Christians is fairly understandable - their parents probably don't want their kids to realise that there is any other form of religion, or even another sort of Christianity like Catholicism or Protestantism (what does it matter? It's all Christianity!). They will have to realise they can't "protect" their children from this forever - one day their kids will grow up and leave and realise that there is a world out there, and then what? Will they rebel against their parents for the childhood that they were given, or will they still be pleased for being treated that way?

And also the Harry Potter thing - he would have been put to death. He's a fictional character! How can this sort of thing corrupt people's minds? Surely kids know that the stuff that happens in that book isn't possible.

If I feel anything for these kids. It's immense sympathy.

I couldn't believe wha they were saying.I rned it off because it was so schocking. Bush is in the way I see it is manipulating christians saying that evolution is not real gobal warming is not real and there are two groups of people. And they in return say he is a God's send a firm christian believer.
He is as believing as an un religous person.
If he is chistian why go to war.

The worst part is that there are people in the world that really believe this stuff...

Any one catch when she said "kids are easy to use" . These people are sick, and I fear the kids pictured in the movie are already to brainwashed to actually take a step back and look at themselves. I have a question, why do Christians speak in tongues? It seems so fake to me. This was a very good movie that was very objective. I heard that the Becky chick was the only one who didn't like the way they were portrayed in the movie. Another funny thing, when fat *** Becky is rambling on about fat, lazy Christians! ***** look in the mirror !
