TW:Eras + RTW mods?

Hello

I just got TW:Eras

I want to be able to play:
1. Vanilla RTW, BI and Alexander
2. RTR
3. EB
4. Maybe some other mods

Can someone please suggest the most effecient way for me to install and manage this, perhaps using som HDD space saving methods using 3rd party mod mananger program?

I basically want to be able to set it up so that I have shortcuts on my desktop that will load up the appropriate game, or have a 3rd party mod mananager program that "flips" the one install from one to anoher depending on what I want to play (this last solution sounds like it would save more HDD space).

Hi,

I do the same thing.

1. install Vanilla
2. patch to 1.3 then to 1.5
3. copy your new RTW folder so you have two of them
4. in first install BI and Alexander
5. in second install other mods

I would skip the patch and go straight to Alexander and BI. They will patch RTW to whatever version of it that is relative to their own. So if you have BI at 1.6, it will patch RTW to 1.5. When you are done installing BI and Alex, then see what version you have everything as, and patch accordingly.

I have RTW Gold which came with RTW 1.5, but BI of only 1.4. When I installed BI it set my RTW back to 1.3.

If it's Eras, BI is installed at the same time as RTW. All to most recent patches. What I do is copy the RTW folder for each mod I want. I have RTR, EB, ROP, and Troy: Total War.
