My First AAR:
A Kieven Rus
AAR....

The Scandinavian Guard, the elite of Kiev, sets it's sights on the oncoming Byzantine horde


The Cossack Gunners, with their skill and finesse, open fire on the Byzantine cavalry



The men swallow their fear and prepare for the oncoming Byzantines



The bastardly Byzantines charge the unprepared militia with the famed Latinkon, driving them into a rout.


The cossacks shower the enemy with a hail of arrows then retreat back to the line




By the grace of God! The Byzantines have set of a pike formation!
The Greek Pikemen advance, crushing the poor militia defenders of the Kieven Rus in their tracks.



Yet all hope is not lost, as the Cossack Gunners advance in a hail of smoke while firing.


As the Slavic swordsmen and rushed by the Byzantine Latinkon, is there really any true hope left for salvation?

The writing is good and the screenies but here are some tips.
.Turn off the UI it makes your screenies alot better.
.And try to take off those numbers.
.Turn off the subtitles.
.Here are what some people do they go to pererences and turn of unit flags. Of course you don't have to do it it will improve the screenies alot.
But still great start hope you will use these tips well.

Or simply edit out the UI. You can select units that you can't see properly sometimes to get rid of the green circles too. Otherwise totally agree. A simple crop off the bottom adds a lot to the picture. Green circles aren't as annoying... Infact on my AAR I had circles and arrows and everything on. I just cropped it so you couldn't see it.

Wow great tips! I especially agree with the numbers, they gota go. For the user interface do you suggest i edit it out of the picture or is there an option in game? I'll get the subtitles out too. Thanks this was sort of a test since I just tried out Fraps, but i'll do a campaign based AAR next with your suggestions.

There is. Go to the menu that opens up and select ui options.
