Self-explanatory really! Anyone going to Reading this year? What bands do you want to see?
Anyone fancy a meet-up?
I went for the weekend last year, and nearly ended up hospitalising some kids when they tried to explode a tent next to our camp. After that incident, I realised that I won't be camping at Reading again, because its full of plebs.
Might go on the Sunday though, to see NiN and Smashing Pumpkins. Other than that the line up is pretty poor from my point of view.... to much Emo and Indie shite.

I'll be absent for the first time in four years. I may be in Reading itself, though.
its underwater, we may have problems![]()
Actually that's a point the campsite is on a field running right along a portion of the Thames with no banks. I've heard on the grapevine though that the only troubles are in the town centre where the canals have overflown.
A surge of 90,000 gallons a second is expected. Reading and Oxford are going to be hit.
I am totally going to Reading this weekend with a blow up dingy.
I was in Reading a week ago and the river outside the VUE and Oracle was overflowing, so the field must be in pretty bad shape.
Yeah I'm gonna be there. The UK Smashing Pumpkins community is descending in force. Quite a few bands I want to see - Smashing Pumpkins, NIN, Battles, Eagles of Death Metal, Silversun Pickups... erm... quite a few others. Can't remember now lol. Probably gonna just be staying at my house tbh, cant really be arsed with camping. Another benefit of being a Reading Student :p
If anyones gonna be around the day after or whatever, drinks down one Reading's local holes may be a laugh. Anyone up for it? Got various groups of people from around the country I'm meeting up with already but organising something might be cool. As for the rain... surprised it didn't get messy down there. The Canal was dead high in the Oracle earlier in the year without too much rain :/
At any rate, we seem to be having good weather. Hopefully things will have dried up by then.
