John from cincinatti or WTF?

seriously I have been trying to watch the show, deadwood style dialouge with some sort of strangeness going on with an autistic messiah :O

but its almost unwatchable now, with the sheer amount of oddity going on, Im not sure what is tryiing to be communicated here. anyone who does know plz tell.

your thoughts on this show?

so either nobody watches hbo or nobody has any idea wtf is going on in this program.

I would probably pick the first. The only thing that really looked remotely even close to interesting to me on the rare times I did watch it was Rome.

I have HBO, but currently the only show I watch is Big Love, and judging by your review I wont be watching John from Cincinnati anytime soon.

I tried watching it, but I say the same as you, it us unwatchable. Thy killed Deadwood for this pile. Sigh, thats what happens when you change those in charge of the schedule over there at HBO.

ROME was great by the way, and I hear that they are going to be bringing George R.R. Martin's 'Song of Ice and Fire' series to HBO. Each book being a season. If they do that, I will be very very interested to see it so long as they keep the same production level as ROME and Deadwood.

and the "preacher" show they are coming out with about a guy who gets the voice of god because god has been shattered in some way and his powers fall into people on earth and havoc ensues ( my kind of show)

I know john from cincinatti is trying to be mysterious and deep but they really need to add some coherence to this show.

I only watched the first three eps. I can't stand Kai, the youngest yosti is just awful to watch, and hearing John simply repeat everything gets annoying. That leads to the question, why am I even caring about, well, good question.

There's absolutely nothing work while on TV to watch anymore. Guess that frees me up to mod more though.
