M2TW on Laptops

Hey does anyone know specific or recommended specs to run M2TW on a laptop with all the settings on max or close to max?

ha you got to be kidding me! hell i got rtw and rtw bi installed in mine! though i run it in medium detail then the rest low with large setting, the load time is like 3 to 15 minutes fr a typical battle!

I ran it no problem for about six months on an Asus with an ATI x1600, which was a better-than-average card when I made the purchase. Only problem was the 14 inch screen, WAY too small for me, so I used a widescreen external, still no problems. I had to turn the grass down I remember, but it still looked great. I haven't kept up to date on laptop cards, but usually the bigger the laptop, the better the card options (much easier to find a gaming 17 inch lappy than a 15 inch).

I run M2TW on a Dell Xps 1710

It has a Geforce 7950 gtx under its belt and runs M2TW on a 1920*1200 resolution, everything maxed out, huge unit settings. Only the 6-times increased battle speed hickups sometimes in really massive battles...
I've invested in the best dual-core I could get for my lappie as wel (overclocked to 2*2.86), and a minimum of 2 Gig RAM, not using Vista, which I believe is as important as the GPU, especially if you choose to play one of the many excellent but heavily scripted mods you can find on this forum!

Now people will say my machine is probably overkill for M2TW, but I originally needed it to play Oblivion any place my girlfriend didn't kick me out, and even now it's a beast of burden (Oblivion, though the girlfriend is a very good second!). M2TW is a GPU lightweight compared to that one...
