    Default Congrats!

Well I just downloaded "The New Shadow" and I just want to say well done on making probably the best mod I've ever played(for any game). After seeing the previews I was excepting a lot and after just one battle I'm hooked. I've finally played a mod that gives interest battles as well as interesting campaign. So I want to say Congrats and thank you for making this peach of a mod.

Having taken care of the 'interesting battles' part and to some extent also the 'interesting campaign' part, I wanna say thanks for the comments and that we're glad you're enjoying yourself so much. Cheers!

yes huge thanks for all the hard work you guys have put into this mod and are still doing (with the hotfixes)
after this great mod, with the introduction of yet another great faction, the next mod im awaiting eagerly is MORIA would you guys ever consider adding dwarfs or even elven factions, (is it possible that they could return to middle earth to battle the darkness again.) or maybe an adaptation of this great Forth Age mod.

I guess they'll do what they did from CI to FE, a map extension, and adding the custom battle factions to the campain.
I hope so, I feared that they would stop after this release (who could blame them) but Apoc said in the eagle standard thing that they want to finnish the BI campain, with 10 factions, the only other one being orcs.
'Course the buildings and the traits and such are the hard bit, compared to just making the units (though the balancing is superb, i rember when Aradan and Xerx started doing it, they filled loads of threads with long posts trying to work it out, and there tedium has paid off, Gondor and Adunubar go toe to toe in most battles, with it hanging on a knife edge, where as before I could beat the AI any day).

u could easily put dale and erebor on the map, u just have to stretch the eastern side a bit
Bad luck Jerry, third time lucky, eh?

Nope, if we expand our map northwards to Dale and Erebor, it would also have to include the Elves and the Orcs too. So it's not easily implemented, but we're discussing what to do next..

Well not only would it be hard to implement, I think the AI would ruin it. Because just like some people were complaining about LOTRTW Erebor would end up attacking Dale. I understand Rohan attacking RK but Dwarves attacking Dale just seems strange to me. Still though its not something that would ruin the whole game

I think "Dale" is dowinion, Dale, Laketown, and the beornings combined.
If it is beorning lead then neutrality to the dwarves, and then war, it ok.
