    Default Can't Delete Problematic Folder

I can't seem to be able to delete a folder which won't let me reinstall a program. I get an error message saying that the folder is being used by a program, but it isn't. Are there any other ways to get rid of a folder thatyou don't want? If you need more details I'll provide them.

Restarting the computer usually does the trick. Sometimes, when that doesn't, clearing the list of most recently used documents sometimes helps. If not, try removing outside access to the folder, or closing any programs that might link back to the folder in their most recent lists.

You could try using safemode, also, there are programs on the net that properly delete folders from your hard-drive, those usually don't care if the folder is in use.

Well you could take a cold bath when this happens or drop a blowing ball on your foot when this annoying windows error happens but rather then break your foot download this instead.

Thanks! I'll try these ideas. (starting with restarting)
