    Default unused abilities

while farting around with the unit.txt i noticed that there are abilities such as sap (digging under walls), druid chanting, and swimming that arent used by any unit!!

so i tried adding them all using the hillmen and hill rabble, yet i cant get any of them to work.

am i missing something, or were they never included/dont work or something??

    --------

and i dont want to make another post so ill just add it here ---

first, if you have many of the new merc units as the general of your army, the commander is an untextured white model...

And can we add dismounted mailed knights to have the same upgraded armour model as the standard mailed knights?? its a great model and a pity its not used... that and i reckon sergeant spearmen should start off with the same armour/model as their swordmen counterparts...

    just my 2 cents...

Check out my new info cards project for TLR.
And my tutorialon how to make them.

I believe this is because the MTWII game code was based on that of Rome Total War - and some of those things were left in, although they remain unused. They probably cant be made to work but I wouldnt know about that.

Shield wall is neat but can be unbalancing because it gives the player a big advantage. The AI won't use it very intelligently if at all.

I'm interested in the command ability. I'm not sure if it actually does give an additional bonus to morale.
