help me again
i no this is a bit deja vu but i uninstalled spqr for a play on the napoleonic mod which i actualy thought waaas a bit boring but anyways i came back to the light and tried to install spqr but i've had the same problem as last time. i've done everything uninstalled rome and the other mod downloaded both patches and then 1.4 but still nothing happens and i've checked that theres only one creative assembly folder which was by problem lasst time, so what can it be this time.

Re: help me again
Try to extract all the files to somewhere seperate, rather than run the install, and then copy & paste the files into the main folder. It's what I did.

Re: help me again
So am I...

Knew I shouldn't have gotten invovled with sports.
Anyway, rightclick on the 6.4 download and there should be an "Extract Here" or "Extract files" option. Click it, and a data folder & SPQR folder (I think) should be somewhere in the folder you extracted it in. Then cut & copy it over to your main Rome Total War filed. There should be a prompt asking if you really want to do it because of copywrite data. Click yes so that it overwrites that data.
Then, with the Rome CD in, enjoy a nice, long, and sometimes frustrating, campaign of SPQR!

Re: help me again
You probably just extracted (installed) it in the wrong place, bud. Most of the time that's the problem. Check whatever your RTW directory is and look for a 'data' folder that's not where it belongs.....even a 'data' folder IN the data folder. Shouldn't be one.
It would greatly simpify things if, when you install RTW, you just install it into a directory named C:\RTW or something simple, rather than all that 'Program Files~this and that' folders.
