When playing as the Kypchaks you will automatically horde if all of your settlements rebel.

Yeah. Actually most faction can horde. But only the Kypchaks get a large array of units after they horde.

Yes and no.

All factions can horde in fact. Though you won't necessarily get a big tribal army the way the Kypchaks or Mongols do.

I think so. The unique thing with this mod's scope is that a number of our factions experienced such diasporas - Khwarezm, the Seljuks and Rum Turks, I think the Armenians, the Ghorids, the Ghaznavids, the Ayyubids to a degree.

What might be advisable is to tailor hording so that we represent it better for factions which experienced it, so that you can really pick up and leave as the Seljuks or Khwarezm, but as the Kingdom of Jerusalem, you'd be fairly limited into just hopping over to Cyprus or to Byzantium/West Anatolia, not establishing yourself halfway across the map.

The harder the campaign, the better! What I'd really love is to find a way of having factions re-emerge, so that you couldn't establish a Seleucid Empire without making sure the locals are pacified by muscle or muse.

I remember in BI trying to kill the horde factions were a nightmare, take there last city and they popup with a unbeatable army.

As I understand Mirage's system to work, only a few factions will get truly impressive hordes. The Kypchaks and the Mongols are absolutely going to get those. Beyond that I do not know.

I think though the Khwarezmians should get the third largest, due to their far reaching diaspora. Following them in size would probably be the seljuks, Rum turks, Armenia (I have no idea what their diaspora into Cicilia was like, so speculation here) and maybe the Ghorids, each being representative not of a good section of the population, but a strong amount of it (And in particular, the ruling or warrior classes). Following them would be everyone else with the smallest, with a horde which I imagine would be the ruling family and their entourage.

But all that is definite is that the Kypchaks and Mongols will get a very impressive one. Beyond that I have no idea, and am just offering ideas.

I dont think they're playable just that if they lose all settlements they get a powerful horde.

Isnt that the point with mods, making it more challenging
