I hope I don't step on anyone's toes with this thread, and I hope I don't come off like "OMG why isn t my country in the game you noobs!" person. But I have a question though.
It seems that in many games and mods Flanders is respresented but always as rebels. Although I realise Flanders has had a lot of rebellions, uprisings in history, I simply don't understand why they are represented only as rebels. Flanders was an economic powerhouse in the middle ages and possibly one of the richest areas in entire northern Europe (today still).
Flanders has always boasted very strong militia too, making it possible to take good care of their own. Whenever Flanders was conquered it was always conquered by huge invading forces making it impossible for them to win. But that doesn't mean they could not win with against an equally large army as Flemish soldiers were not inferior. Flemish soldiers also played big parts in other armies, such as the Norman army invading England, were a substantial part of the Norman army was made of Flemish.
What I'm pleaing for here is that I believe Flanders deserves to be a faction outright.![]()
