    Default Benchmarking Performance MedII:TW

Does Medieval II have an in built tool that will measure battlefield performance (in terms of FPS)? Or do you need a third party tool like FRAPS to take a measurement?

This is all to do with a little project I had in mind, for people who keep asking about what computer they need to run the game smoothly.

    Not afaik.

Bear in mind that fraps has an overhead if you intend to use it.

Fraps benchmarking, doesn't have any overhead.
I would record the scripted overview in the prologue that flies over the units, or one of the historic battles, that way you get the closest possible result in repeated tests.
