IMO, there are things you can take away from an individual without lasting impact such as wealth. But everyone has their own last line or bastion of sanity. I don't think anyone can deny this. But it still doesn't change the fact that the Hamas are Islamist bloodsuckers. In fact 90% of these Islamist groups are parasites of what would be otherwise righteous causes. They turn a proper and honorable resistance or insurgency into a aimless mess of sectarian bloodshed.

What would you expect from a rebel agency?
I wouldn't expect anything less than infighting. The Algerian war for independence also saw a great deal of infighting, and so did the Chinese Communists, not to mention the original Republican Nationalists.

The worst enemies of a rebel agency is usually not the government, but other competing rebel agencies fighting against the same government. That's the way the politics work. And the only means that HAMAS can stop the sectarian non-sense is that it comes out as the sole domineering opposing power.
