    Default Snow blindness....

Ever wondered how people during the past who still don't have masks for use combat snow blindness during snowy battles? Anyone know the answer?

The Inuits used this, the Scandinavians probably used something similar, but I'm not sure about that.

Not from what I recall. There are some battles I remember that were fought in the snow.

Looks like a visor, with slits for eye holes so the snow cant get through. Fashioned out of whale bone I presume?

At first glance it looked like a strap on. But then on second thought, the slit and rough edges of the slit might be uncomfortable.

A little charcoal or mud around the eyes would of helped. Just like the National Football League.
