Default Incest? Is it in the game?

First of all, apologies if I sound disturbed.

Is it possible to marry princesses to close relations in The Long Road? In the original Medieval:TW, I would occasionally enjoy myself trying to make the most insane king I could. A big part of my strategy was marrying siblings to each other over multiple generations.

I don't think it's possible in Vanilla MTW2, but it would certainly add to the roleplaying factor if it was included in TLR. There's the possibility for loads of new traits as well, such as "Product of incest" or "Betrothed to sibling". There could be different traits if it was found out by the public.

    Just a thought...

In game? I know for sure it is in the family... "Incest! A game for the whole family!"
Good idea, it opens up many comical possibilities.

I would always send assassins to kill any incestious family members I had in MTW, often resulting in damaging civil wars. Good times, good times.

You can marry cousins, but not brothers and sisters in MTW2.

Is it at all possible to mod it in, or is it hardcoded?

It's a shame that CA didn't include all the features from the previous games in MTW:2, is all.

Incest is best, put your sister to the test...

    Sorry, couldn't help myself.

i married one side's princess to the cousin side, and the sister of the guy who married her, to the brother of the original princess in question.

i planned to intermarry their offspring but i formatted pc due to performance problems and copied the wrong save file over.
i was rather looking forward to what sort of traits their progenys wouldve had

Interesting idea actually - I've done more or less the same thing. I've been marrying into the extended family where possible - I've noticed a few nasty traits appearing quite early on, which havent appeared before (for me anyway).

But how do people use princesses? I sometimes use them to negotiate, but I've found more often than not if I dont marry them into the blood line my guys will not bare any children.
