    Default Hot-seat and help against CTD

    On Germany turn 60 I've got CTD with message on Independants turn(first one in total around 700 turns in TLR).
    I've started hot-seat- fortunately it was working- I entered parol and get to Germany .I knew only one command control france so I typed it and entered parol got to play France .I tried to enter commands(ctrl rebels and ctrl independants) to get to rebels ,but they are not right ones .Fortunately CTD didn't occured and so I jumped to Germany saved and can restart in normal mode.
    But question is what are commands for hot-seat ?To activate different factions ,I mean
    Would I play several factions who would win -first which got its objectives completed ?

    The commands are:

    control factionname

    so for example

    control england

    to control england or

    control slave

    to control rebels.

    This campaign now is in new problem :
    After persistent CTD on turn 350 smth I took control of France in hot-seat mod but CTD still occured .I took the control over mongols since on their turn ,or rebels,was one on which CTD was occuring .Result was OK CTD gone .I saved started Germany in normal TLR mode . On France turn game was like-freesing forewer .Nothing to do I started in hot-seat -it already showed that there 2 human players whch meant my real faction -Germany and France whom I tried to use to get over CTD. So I could not go on with normal campaign on Germany since on Franch turn computer was waiting forewer
    France had only one city left so I just loaded generals on ship and let them get killed .France was out from campaign and I could go on with main faction in normal mods .Soon Pope asked me to join crusade I came to target city laid siege and on next turn initiated battle for it .But smth was very very strange with my army ! Then I understood : my forces were stated as (AI reinforcement) I took this city with auto-resolve yet next battle was also like this my armies in any battle are AI reinforcments !!
    But if I load from saves which had been made before I started to take control over other faction in order to escape CTD my forces are normal ???
    Now I don't know what to do shall the re-install of MTW2 and mod or ...?

    So it could be good to know to operate the hot seat mode .
    For example how to abandon control over some faction if you already got what you needed.
